This park was packed for a fall weekend! We arrived about 10A on a Saturday and only found 3 pull thru full service sites. The area was experiencing a cold front so the water was turned off at the sites. I have a 40ft American Coach and had troubles with the pull thru. We ended up at site 101, tight fit but we managed. So peaceful and quiet. A lot of trees so OTA TV or satellite was not possible, that's OK we have a large selection of DVD's. Close enough to Wenatchee we did get the local radio stations for news. My Verizon Wireless service was solid 4 bars, blackberry worked very well. Just watch your corners as its tight for a bigger coach, but so beautiful and worth it.
I can't remember the exact figure we paid (about $30 I think). Place was spotless, with wonderful views and just over all pleasant. Arrived Sunday night so maybe 15 RVs at the most. Peaceful and relaxing! This State Park is better than some of the private or members-only that I have seen! We parked in # 31 space
An older park, but it was clean. The Wi-Fi was weak but it worked. The cell service did not work. I felt out of place in my 40 foot coach: stood out like a sore thumb. The staff was polite, however I might not stop again.
We arrived at 6:30PM and could not find anyone in the office. We called and only a voice mail answered. Website is rather misleading even for golfing. There are VERY narrow spaces. My coach is 40ft long, and when I called to make reservations I was assured 40ft was no problem. There is a huge problem with yellow jackets. I wont stay here again. Only stayed here to avoid the KOA and the rest areas on the 90 Freeway
It is quiet and peaceful, with not one spec of litter! It could use a pool and hot tub:) The staff was great, and went out of their way to settle us in our space. It would be a 10 star if it only had a pool. We did not see any children, so if there were any they were very well behaved. I'd go back!
Everything worked well, only the cable tv was a bit fuzzy on some channels. WIFI was great, clean, quiet. Just wish there was a little more privacy between spaces.
This park is run down, and is very much need of a face lift or a complete over haul. Sites need racking of dead leaves, branches and bows need trimming. Gravel sites and not very level, and the wash rooms are disgusting. I was assigned a spot water and 30amps only, I could not run my microwave oven. The sewer was out of order. The next morning we moved to a 50 amp, which still needed a lot of maintenance. I have been to far superior Washington State Parks, even with all the budget cuts they are still great. I was old I was a minority cause they do not get many American Eagles in the park that require 50 amps. Basically said 50 amp is mandatory for me, membership declined.
